Trip Itinerary

Where will we go in Iceland?

Covering Iceland’s hidden gems, we will be taking off on the road discovering the towns, villages and waterfalls that connects your soul with nature like no other in a self-drive trip full of a variety of scenery, fun activities and iconic sites.

How much cash do I need?

The daily program, including activities, transportation and breakfast is included in the package. For other daily expenses, you will need to cater for lunch and dinner meals. The average meal is around 2,600 to 3,700 ISK ($25-$35 USD).
Most places are visa or MasterCard friendly so we wouldn’t recommend that you carry a lot of cash.

How’s the weather like?

Average weather will be between -1 c to 6 c with clear blue skies and sunshine with a possibility of light rain on some of the days. It’s still considered cold and can get very windy so layering up in cozy clothes is always recommended.

Do I need a visa to enter?

A Schengen Visa is required for the gulf nationalities except the UAE. Citizens of the US and UK do not need a visa to enter Iceland.

Where will I sleep?

You will be sleeping in different accommodation every couple of days as we explore the wonders that Iceland has to give. Most accommodation are very comfortable with a mixture of hotels, lodges and Airbnb. The Scandinavian simple style plays a big role in the design of most of the accommodations here.

Is a certain level of fitness required?

We always recommend people to be fit on our trips as we love to be outdoors and on our feet a lot!

What are the main activities during the trip?

Iceland will give you a feeling that you jumped into your explorer page in Instagram. As we move around the island, get ready for going on short trails along some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, snowmobiling on one of the biggest glaciers in Iceland, kayaking across clear blue waters and swimming in the beautiful steaming blue lagoon.

How will we be moving from one place to the other?

This is a self- drive trip so our main guides will be driving you from one place to another and making sure you reach safely from one site to the other.
Actual driving times vary each day with an average of one hour between each activity or site.

Will we get to see the northern lights?

April marks the end of the Northern Light Season in Iceland!

So keep your fingers crossed and hopefully by the end of the trip, you should get a glimpse of those dancing green skies!

What kind of clothes will I need to pack?

Smart, activity friendly, water resistant, and very warm clothes are recommended for Iceland. You will be moving around a lot and Iceland is considered a cold country, so you will need to keep warm.
A detailed packing list will be sent as soon as you confirm your registration.

Is it shared accommodation?

Yes, the accommodation will be shared, usually on a twin-share basis. Single
occupancy can be requested with an extra charge and will be based on availability.

Where’s the meet up point?

Once you book your tickets, make sure you share it with the journey’s team.
Transportation will be arranged from the airport to the hotel.

Do I need to fill out any forms for entering Iceland?

Iceland no longer requires any online forms to be filled. Double check with the other countries that you might be transiting in as they might have other requirements.
