Culturally rich – Breath taking Nature – Adventure

Culturally rich, Breath taking Nature & Adventure

Vietnam is a country of contrasts, where raucous, dynamic cities are located close to serene seas and rising limestone karsts.

Experience city life when crossing the street feels like a game of life and death due to a large number of motorbikes. However, this is oddly fascinating and offers a genuine glimpse into local life.

Include the sense of unity that comes from neighbours gathered around a steamy bowl of pho while families work on crafts in the streets. You’ll have a love affair with these urban forests as a result.

What to see?

Local attractions: These are our favourite places and hidden gems throughout Vietnam.

Go on a safari
Most people come to South Africa to go on a safari — and for good reason. It’s home to some of the best game drives in the world and you’ll want to spend at least a couple of nights in one of the hundreds of national parks. There’s truly nothing like it.
Visit Cape Town
Cape Town is the most popular destination in South Africa. It’s a vibrant, multicultural city with lively bars, delicious food, great weather, lots of nature and hiking nearby. In addition to the city’s amazing beaches, the waterfront is bursting with things to do as well.
Visit Robben Island
When it comes to learning about apartheid, you’ll want to also plan a trip to Robben Island. Located just four miles off the coast of Cape Town, Robben Island was a maximum-security prison until 1996. During the apartheid era, many political prisoners were sent to Robben Island. This includes Nelson Mandela, who spent 18 years behind bars on Robben Island.
Hike the Drakensberg Mountains
The Drakensberg region near the east coast is home to the highest mountain range in the country, with rugged green peaks, sandstone cliffs, and deep valleys. There are lots of trails, ranging from casual walks to strenuous climbs and plenty of options for both day hikes and multi-day hikes.
See African Penguins
Part of the Table Mountain National Park and a short drive from Cape Town, the Boulders Penguin Colony is home to several thousand African penguins. (Fun fact: they’re also known as jackass penguins, because the noises they make sound like a donkey braying.)
Go Scuba Diving
If you love to dive (or want to learn), head to Cape Town. The diving here is world-class thanks to the mixing of warm and cold ocean currents. Here you’ll find rocky shores, lots of reefs, and kelp forests. There are also lots of wrecks on both sides of the peninsula too...

How about the accommodation?

Finding the ideal accommodation is a crucial step in planning a trip to Vietnam. Fortunately, there are many options to select from, ranging from expensive hotels to affordable guesthouses.

The tourist information centres in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are valuable sources for lodging. They can give you recommendations based on your interests or call to reserve a room for you.

Additionally, with so many websites and apps accessible for this purpose, booking hotels online is becoming easier and easier.

It’s also crucial to remember that Vietnam is rife with knockoff businesses, especially in well-known tourist destinations. Make a note of the street name and give it to your driver to prevent being brought to a hotel with a similar name.

Overall, with a bit of research and careful consideration, finding the perfect accommodation in Vietnam can be a straightforward and enjoyable part of your travel experience.
